The Nasarawa State Police command has confirmed the invasion of a community in the Keffi Local Government Area and the adoption of four students of the state’s university by gunmen.

Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Ramhan Nansel, explained that the abduction of the students occurred earlier today at Angwan Ka’are, while stating that the Commissioner of Police, Maiyaki Baba, has ordered the manhunt of the culprits to rescue the victims unhurt.

Meanwhile, the university’s Information and Protocol Officer, Abraham Ekpo said the student union government is yet to report the incident to the Vice Chancellor; hence the institution cannot make an official statement.
