The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke says the parcel of land in contention between Orolu and Irepodun local government has been seized by the state government.

Adeleke made this known at the first edition of the Ipade Imole, a public accountability platform held in Osogbo today, noting that he has obtained the cooperation of the Chief Of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, to deploy military personnel to maintain law and order in both communities.

The governor however called on the chiefs, community leaders, and kings to call their subjects to order, avoid senseless blood shed and breakdown of law and order.

There was tension in Orolu and Irepodun local government yesterday after members of both communities clashed over a parcel of land, leading to the death of a person.
