The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar says the presidency is focused on turning the fortunes of the country around, rather than wasting time on fruitless defense of certificates.

Tuggar, speaking in a televised interview today, said the President had met with other world leaders despite the controversy and the issue had not been a subject of discussion in all his recent international engagements.

According to him, President Tinubu is bent on alleviating the suffering of the people, creating an enabling environment for investment, while calling on aggrieved parties to embrace national development.

Recall Chicago State University released the academic records of the President following a request by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, although Tinubu’s lawyers insist the documents would not be relevant in Atiku’s appeal at the Supreme Court.
