Wolverhampton Wanderers ended Manchester City’s perfect start to the Premier League season with a 2-1 victory at the Molineux.

Wolves are 13th with seven points from seven matches while Pep Guardiola’s men remain top of the table despite defeat, but could be knocked off their perch if Liverpool beat Tottenham later today.

On the other side of the city, Manchester United suffered a second successive defeat at home in the Premier League as Joachim Andersen’s superb strike gave Crystal Palace an impressive victory at Old Trafford.

Elsewhere, Ollie Watkins scored his second hat-trick of the season as Aston Villa delivered a ruthless display to thrash high-flying Brighton at Villa Park.

Finally, Last season’s runners up continue to mount pressure with an emphatic display of class, condemning Bournemouth to a four-goal barrage.
