TINUBU RETURNS TO ABUJA
President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria’s capital, Abuja. He had embarked on his trip to New York on September 17th to participate in the 78th session of the UNGA in New York, USA.
During his time in New York, he participated in various diplomatic events and meetings, including delivering an inaugural statement.
Tinubu departed from New York on Thursday, September 21st. Despite his departure, there has been no official communication regarding his subsequent activities or whereabouts.
His return coincides with an impending nationwide strike by organized labor, protesting economic hardships stemming from the removal of petrol subsidies as Nigeria commemorates its 63rd independence anniversary.
