Popular Nigerian Journalist, Rufai Oseni has been conferred with honorary Doctorate by a South-African-based Immanuel Institute of Theology in conjunction with Priesthood Leadership Development Initiative Inc. based in Nigeria.
Oseni was honoured on Saturday at the Leadership Empowerment International Conference (LEIC), alongside, Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi with a Ph.D. in Leadership (Honoris Causa).
There were 18 other recipients including Pastor Ayo Arowojolu, a German, Pastor Conrad Oberle, an American pastor, Dr. Mrs. Tamike Brown, Lead Pastor, SPAC, Abeokuta, Dosunmu, and Owu Kingmaker/Promoter, Sixth Sense Initiatives, Chief Abiodun Lasile that the honour was bestowed on the awardees in recognition of their far-reaching contributions and impact on society.

Announcing this award via twitter in August, Oseni wrote, “Got a letter saying I have been nominated for an honorary Doctorate degree.I am humbled but pls don’t call me Dr. It’s an honor just like any other humbling one.”
