The Lagos State Police Command has inaugurated a 13-man special investigation team to probe the mysterious death of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Lagos State Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa in a statement today said the force has unique access with INTERPOL and everybody linked to the death of the singer will be identified and interrogated.

Recall Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records owned by Azeez Faashola, popularly known as Naira Marley died last Tuesday with speculations that his death was suspicious.

Earlier, Naira Marley had released a statement describing the demise of his former artist as painful, while insisting that their past disagreement was a bygone.

However, contrary to his submissions, social media users have called for thorough investigation into circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
