Cross River Government Earmarks 5Billion for Renovation of Governor’s Office in Calabar, Liaison Offices in Lagos, Abuja.

Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has confirmed that he will spend N5 billion to refurbish the Governor’s Office in Calabar to befit its status.

He disclosed this during an interaction with journalists, saying all the state liaison offices in Abuja, Lagos and elsewhere will be upgraded to be the signpost.

According to him, he will not stop spending money to make the governor’s office very befitting, describing the current office as substandard.

Otu said the estimated costs of the renovations will be between N3 to N5 billion, but for now the contractors are working pro bono, promising execute the renovations with transparency.
