Ogun Government Recruits 321 Health Personnel to Boost Health Care Services

The Ogun State Government has confirmed that it has recruited no fewer than 321 health personnel, hired by the State Hospitals Management Board (HBM) in the previous two years to bolster the current medical staff.

The permanent secretary of the board, Yinka Elemide, disclosed this in a statement, saying 174 of the personnel are in the senior staff cadre, while the remaining 147 are in the junior cadre.

The permanent secretary explained that such health officers had stayed in the service for more than two years, with four progress evaluations showing they had no adverse reports.

He advised them to remain dedicated to giving quality healthcare to residents of the State in their respective stations so as to complement the efforts of the government in ridding the of diseases.
