Lagos Police Restores Normalcy to Mile 2, Begins Investigation into Remote Cause of Disorder

Lagos state police command has confirmed normalcy to the Mile 2 area after a clash between taskforce and hoodlums.

Reports emerged this morning that commotion broke out in the area following a fall out between truck drivers, task force and alleged area boys.

The spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said the commissioner of police, Idowu Owohunwa visited Mile 2 area to assess the situation.

According to him, patrol teams have arrived at the scene, obstacles are being cleared and free flow of traffic picking up again, while investigation into the killing of a driver has commenced.
