Nigerian Singer and YBNL signee, Asake’s second album, titled, work of art, has crossed the one billion streams mark across prominent digital streaming platforms, barely two months after its release.
The figure according to a review Platform, Charts Africa, was determined after summing the streams from the top five digital streaming platforms (DSPs), comprising Apple Music, Audiomack, Boomplay, Spotify and YouTube
Work of Art featured 14 tracks, including previously released singles such as ‘2:30,’ ‘Yoga,’ and ‘Amapiano,’ which featured his label boss, Olamide Baddo.
The news comes days after Asake became of the small circle of Nigerian acts to sell out the twenty thousand capacity O2 Arena in London.
