Dear Rufai, Retired police officers are suffering.

Rufai retired police officers are dying of poverty,hunger and frustration. The money they contributed for their retirement from their salary as gratuity are not given to them .The director of Pencom that is in charge of the money is living big with the money and her staffs. For example ASP of police are been given 1.7 million as gratuity and 42 thousand as monthly pension. Rufai what can this do to a family with the present economic situation of the country.After 35 years of service to the nation police officers does deserve this.How can you contribute money for your retirement and at the end of your service some one will sit down comfortably in her office and said she want to manage the money for you .They will divide the money you contributed into three give you one part and said they will manage the other two part for you.So,Rufai someone that serve the country for 35 years can not manage his money? Look my brother I have been seeing you talking on national issues and I know you meant well for this country retired police officers are dying of hunger 42 thousand can not sustain a man in a month not to talk of a man with family.Look at school fees and other needs that’s why the senate looked into it and said police deserve more they should exit the fraudulent contributory pension scheme .Is it an offence to serve the country ?
