Greek authorities have confirmed that 18 burned bodies were found in a remote area in northeastern Greece, where wildfires have been raging for days.
Fire department spokesman, Yiannis Artopios said in a televised address that they were found near the national park of Dadia considered close to Turkey and a frequent entry point for migrants.
Artopis added that since it had received no reports of missing people in the area, authorities were investigating the possibility that they were illegal migrants.
