Adamawa state governor Ahmadu Fintiri has urged corp members to pick up relevant skills and knowledge during service as white-collar jobs have become a scarce commodity.

Fintiri said this at the swearing-in ceremony of 2023 batch ‘B’ Stream 2 orientation course in Damare camp, Girei Local Government, in Adamawa.

The governor who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Edga Amos, encouraged corp members to avail themselves the opportunities for self-employment offered through the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme.

On his part, NYSC Adamawa Coordinator, Jingi Denis, appealed to the corp members to study and abide by the provisions of the NYSC Act and the NYSC Bye-Laws, to avoid misrepresenting the corp.
