High hopes as Enugu new commissioner for transport, Obi Ozor holds first meeting with the commissioner for Police and heads of transport unions

Today, the Enugu State Commissioner for Transportation, Obi ozor has set the pace for an accelerated take off in the ministry of transportation as he holds his first meeting with the commissioner for police and the various heads of transport unions.
He expressed his interest to work and collaborate with the various heads of transport unions for the overall interest of Ndi Enugu in line with the agenda, goals and visions of the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
In response, the leaders of the transport union also thanked the new commissioner, Obi Ozor who deemed it fit to call for a productive first meeting, expressed their gratitude to Governor Mbah for appointing a competent young man with proven track records in the logistics industry while noting that they are confident that Obi Ozor will revive and overhaul the transportation sector in the State, noting that they had already started seeing his impacts by the renovation project flagged off to ensure a comfortable working environment.
Furthermore, the Enugu commissioner for police, Ahmed Amani has assured Obi Ozor of the police readiness to partner with the ministry of transportation in order to ensure a more sincere, secured and robust effectiveness in the transport sector of the state.
Obi Ozor who paid a courtesy visit to the commissioner of police said he would ensure a positive collaboration with the police as critical stakeholders while also thanking the commissioner for maintaining and improving the security of the state since the inception of Governor Mbah’s administration.
