Lagos Assembly Completes Screening of 20 of 39 Commissioner-Nominees

The Lagos State House of Assembly says it has completed the screening of 20 out of 39 commissioner nominees whose names were recently sent by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu by a committee of the House which began sitting yesterday.

A statement by Ebhomele Eromosele, Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker Mudasiru Obasa listed those screened as immediate past Special Adviser to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Housing, Adetoke Benson- Awoyinka, former Executive Secretary of Yaba Local Council Development Area, Bola Olumegbon Lawal, Yakoob Alebiosu, Idris Aregbe, Abdul-Kabir Ogungbo, Abiola Olowu, and Mosopefolu George.

Others screened are immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor on Parastatals Monitoring, Afolabi Ayantayo, Oreoluwa finnih- Awokoya, Adekunle Olayinka, Aramide Adeyoye Mobolaji Ogunlende, Olamide Babatunde and Lawal Pedro.

The screening committee led by Chief Whip of the House, Mojeed Fatai, is to make a report to the House when it reconvenes.
