
Fifa’s disciplinary panel ruled that England star Lauren James will be available to play again at the Women’s World Cup after.
According to the world football body Lauren’s red card against Nigeria was not a serious act of foul play
.The 21-year-old, who has been the Lionesses’ best player of the tournament so far, was shown a red card in the 87th minute of the side’s last-16 win over Nigeria after stamping on the back of Michelle Alozie.
On Tuesday, England confirmed they had decided to appeal a lengthier ban and put forward representation on behalf of James, with Fifa now confirming the decision of the disciplinary hearing.
