A Family Court in Iyaganku, Ibadan has ordered that skit maker Maruf Abdullahi popularly known as Trinity” be remanded in Agodi correction centre for allegedly sexually exploiting a 10-year old girl.
The Magistrate, P. O. Adetuyibi also remanded the parent of the girl, Isiaka Ahmed and Rofiat Ahmed in prison until August 3 when the matter would come up again for hearing.
Trinity was invited by the Police and subsequently arrested after asking a minor to describe his private part in a viral skit.
The police then charged Trinity alongside the parents of the victim to court for conspiracy and sexual abuse/exploitation which contravenes sections of the Oyo State Child Right’s Law 2006 and section 516 of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State 2000.
