Tobi Amusan, a world champion and the holder of the 100-meter hurdles world record, displayed class on Sunday at the 2023 Diamond League athletics competition in Stockholm, Sweden, winning the event in 12.52 seconds despite the ground being wet.
Sarah Lavin of Ireland clocked a personal best time of 12.73 seconds, finishing ahead of Skrzyszowska, who took third place in 12.78 seconds.
Amusan said, “the rain stopped but it was still very cold. I am not very happy with where I am but I trust in the process even when it is not necessarily processing right.”
