The newly appointed Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar today assumed office with a promise that his command would reinvigorate the fight against terrorism, insurgency, banditry and a host of other challenges bedeviling the country.
According to Abubakar, most of the new service chiefs are from the same course 39, hence, it would be easy for the armed forces to build synergy to combat all forms of security threats in the country.
On his part, the immediate past Air Marshal Oladayo Amao said despite the challenges his tenure recorded many successes and urged his successor to ensure the service attain a greater height under his watch.
Until his appointment, the new CAS was the Chief of Standards and Evaluation at Air Force Headquarters.
