The Saudi Arabian Government has declared Wednesday, June 28, as the first day of Eid Al-Adha, the period when Muslims will slaughter rams, after sighting the new moon of Dhul Hijjah in the country.
The day of Hajj, the Day of Arafat will be on Tuesday, 27 June.
The Crescent for the month of Dhul Hijjah was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening.
Those Muslims who are not performing the pilgrimage this year will celebrate Eid Al-Adha on Wednesday, June 28 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
