Police Arrests Bandits Informant in FCT

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Mohammed Hamza who was declared wanted for allegedly supplying logistics and acting as informant to a bandit group terrorizing the territory.

Spokesperson of the Command, Josephine Adeh said Hamza Was Arrested By The Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the FCT Police Command At The Mongoro Forest.

She added that exhibits recovered from the suspect include one Ak47 Rifle, foodstuffs and an unregistered boxer motorcycle.

Her statement noted that the command is intensifying Its investigation to identify and cut off the criminal supply chain and arrest other members of the gang.

The Command also arrested 11 criminal suspects for various crimes including illegal possession of firearms, and armed robbery, amongst other crimes.
