Now, members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shii’ ites have again appealed to the Federal Government to release of the traveling documents of their leader, Ibraheem Zakzaky, and that of his wife, Zeenatuddin Ibrahim.
The group also begged for the unconditional release of its members in various detention facilities illegally without trial.
A senior member of the group, at a press conference in Abuja, Shehu Maigandi asked President Bola Tinubu to take note of what he called grave human rights violations against the leader of the group, his family, and followers by the previous governments of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari and ensure that it does not continue under him.
