The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa is currently meeting with President Bola Tinubu.

The sudden meeting between Bawa and Tinubu may not be unconnected to the ongoing crisis between the Department of State Security Service and the EFCC.

It was reported on Tuesday that DSS operatives stormed the Lagos office of the EFCC and prevented officials of the anti-graft agency from gaining access to their office in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Impeccable sources in both agencies confirmed that there had been an ongoing rivalry between the DSS and the EFCC over the ownership of the building.

President Tinubu later intervened on the matter by immediately ordering on Tuesday, the officers of the Department of State Security Service to immediately vacate the Ikoyi office of the EFCC in Lagos.
