A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and founder of DAAR Communications, High Chief Raymond Aleogho Anthony Dokpesi is dead.
This was confirmed in a statement signed by Raymond Dokpesi (Jnr).
Circumstances leading to his death was sketchy at the time of filing this report but a source claimed he suffered a strokeafter the recent Ramadan fast.
The AIT boss had since then been managing his health and was placed on occupational therapy to improve his daily activities before his sudden death.
However the statement by the family partly read; “the Dokpesi family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of our patriarch. We also ask for privacy during this time as we grieve together as a family.
“The family will release further details on the funeral arrangements in due course.
“May his soul rest in peace.”
