Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, today presided over a special Federal Executive Council, FEC, Meeting, at the State House in Abuja, two weeks to the end of the current administration.
While FEC meetings traditionally take place on Wednesdays, this session was convened urgently to address a backlog of tasks as the President Muhammadu Buhari administration winds down in the next 14 days.
The Special meeting was to address 37 memos from various ministries, departments, and agencies.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, Head of Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan were among those physically present at the meeting.
