The Nigeria Police Force has launched a manhunt for politicians allegedly plotting to disrupt the May 29 inauguration of President-Elect, Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima.

According to Inspector-General Of Police, Usman Baba, the search became imperative to quickly end tame certain elements bent on destabilising  the peaceful environment currently being enjoyed in the country.

Revealing that the police was working with other security agencies to sniff out such subversive elements, Alkali warned that any attempt to undermine Nigeria’s democracy would not be tolerated.

He insisted that true democrats would subdue their personal ambitions instead of overriding national security and democratic interests.
