No less than 12 persons have been killed in Russian Air strikes across Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv.
Ukrainian officials say ten people died in the central city of Uman after missiles hit residential buildings while a woman and her three-year-old daughter were killed in the city of Dnipro.
The Ukrainian military added that it was able to shot down 21 out of 23 missiles and two attack drones.
In his reaction, President Volodymyr Zelensky said 10 residential buildings were damaged in Uman and said the attacks showed further international action needed to be taken against Russia.
