The All-Progressives Congress (APC) has summoned a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC), in view of some of the internal issues within the party.
The National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu, made this known in a statement, where he revealed that the meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday. The reason for the meeting is due to a lawsuit filed against him and the National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore, by the National Vice Chairman (North West), Salihu Lukman.
According to the statement, the NWC will use the meeting as an opportunity to address the issues raised by Salihu Lukman and the legal action instituted against the National Chairman and National Secretary.
The statement further disclosed that the May 29 inauguration of President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, will be reviewed in preparation for the new administration.
