Bandits have kidnapped the District Head of Kasuwar Daji in the Kaura-Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Ibrahim Sarkin Fada.
According to an indigene of the area, Audu Mohammed, the bandits who were in large numbers stormed Kasuwar Daji village and went straight to the village head’s house where they abducted him and took him to their camp.
Bello said the bandits fired many gunshots in order to frighten the residents of the village who wanted to rescue their village head.
The police in Zamfara is yet to confirm the attack.
