Court of Appeal President Orders Relocation of Ebonyi Election Tribunal to Abuja

Chief Judge of the Court of Appeal, Monica Mensem has directed the Ebonyi State Election Petition Tribunal to relocate to the Federal Capital Territory Abuja with immediate effect.

Secretary of the Tribunal, Nyior Sekulla announced this in Abakaliki subsequently signalling the shutdown of the Tribunal office at the Ebonyi State Judiciary Headquarters in Abakaliki

According to him, all processes relating to matters before the Tribunal will continue at Abuja.

Sekulla, however, declined to give reasons for the decision to move the Tribunal to Abuja.
