Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has said that the incoming administration must facilitate reconciliation following the level of division witnessed during the just concluded general elections.
Obasanjo who spoke at a conference in Abuja said this had the potential to bring about healing and to assuage Nigerian youths who were angered by the shortcomings of the elections.
Obasanjo who had endorsed Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi during the presidential poll urged the next administration to think outside the box and rescue the nation, from its plunging economic challenges and huge national debt burden.
Noting that that he would continue to voice concerns for the benefit of the nation, he added that there was a need to prioritise transforming the public service, into a capable unit.
