Fubara Gets Certificate of Return, Promises to Up Standards Set by Wike

The Governor-elect of Rivers, Siminalayi Fubara says he would upp the standards of governance set by Governor Nyesom Wike to ensure full scale development in the State.

He also extended the olive branch to opposing candidates, noting that he requires their support for the peace and stability of Rivers.

This formed part of his remarks when he received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Port Harcourt.

The National Commissioner for INEC, for Rivers and Bayelsa, May Agbamuche-Mbu also presented a Certificate of Return to the Deputy Governor Elect, Ngozi Nma Ordu.

The brief ceremony was attended by Governor Wike, top party faithfuls and associates of the recipients.

Also, Members-Elect of Rivers House of Assembly also received their Certificates of Return from the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Sinikiem Alalibo.
