Arise TV Journalist, Rufai Oseni, Athlete, Tobi Amusan, Labour Party Governorship Candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, spoken word exponent and author, Dike Chukwumerije and Rapper, Folarin Falana and several others have made the list of young Nigerians profiled in a biographical compendium, Changemakers: 100 Nigerians Leading Change 2023 edition.
Others who made the cut are, Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Uchechukwu Eze; ; rights activist, Aisha Yesufu and football sensational, Victor Osimhen.
Changemakers: 100 Nigerians Leading Change, spotlights exceptional Nigerians who think out of the box to provide solutions to Nigeria’s plethora of problems.
The list also recognised Managing Director of Messrs Caniz Ltd, Dr. Austin Izagbo, who returned N75m overpaid to his company; Prof. Saheed Aderinto, a Professor of History and African Diaspora Studies at Florida International University, who recently won the $300,000 Dan David Prize – the largest history prize in the world; and Yvonne Johnson, the Co-founder/CEO of Indicina – a FinTech infrastructure start-up focused on Africa.
According to its Co-editors, Kammonke Abam and Tammie Edet kammonke, these change-makers are young Nigerians that are set to change the world, and some who are already knee-deep doing exactly that in different fields of endeavour.
“They are listed in the compendium in acknowledgement of their distinctive endowment and their contributions towards the emergence of a new Nigeria,” they said.
