Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has retained his seat for an additional term of four years after winning the governorship election in the state.
Buni won in all 17 Council areas, Polling 317,113 votes as against the 104,259 votes scored by Sharif Abdullahi of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The results were announced by Prof. Umar Pate of the Federal University of Kashere, Gombe state.
