APC Retains Ruling Party Status in Gombe

The All Progressives Congress has retained control of Gombe following the victory of Governor Inuwa Yahaya for a second term.

Yahaya scored 342, 821 votes while People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mohammed Barde scored 233, 131 votes.

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Khamisu Mailantarki polled 19, 861 votes.

The results were declared by State collation Officer of the election, Prof Maimuna Waziri.
