Police Rescue Kidnapped Perm Sec in Jos

The Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the rescue of a Permanent Secretary in the State, Alexander Plangnan and also recovered a stolen vehicle in the process.

Plangnan was abducted on Sunday night in his house in the State Lowcost Area, Rantya, Jos South Local Government Area of the State.

Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo said officers worked all through the night to recover the kidnap victim while one Jerry Moret who was knocked down by the hijacked vehicle controlled by the kidnappers during the process, has been taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Alabo however added that officers were on trail to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
