The Peoples’ Democratic Party in Osun State has said the die minute appointments made by the immediate past governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, were dangerous to the survival of the state.
Speaking in an interview, Publicity Secretary of the PDP in osun State, Oladele Bamiji, said the Governor, Ademola Adeleke, had not outrightly sacked anyone, but subjected their appointments to review.
Bamiji further explained that anywhere competency and the rule of law were followed in appointment by the past government, the governor would not hesitate to reinstate.
Contrary to reports that 12, 000 workers were sacked, Bamiji declined to give an actual figure of how many persons were suspended from the state civil service.
