A popular Nigerian Journalist, Rufai Oseni says he has been the subject of threats from some political parties, the recent being in an elevator.
On Tuesday, Rufai tweeted, “Abuses everywhere, people from a political party saw me an threatened me in an elevator.I just walked away, I have learnt it is not everyone you respond to.”
In a flurry of tweets that followed, Oseni said he would not be deterred.
“Hearing all sorts is part of my job,but I am not deterred.My job is to help build my nation. The goal of a better nation is paramount.For me the logic of the argument is paramount,” he tweeted.
He added, “For me, I don’t seek to be popular,but I don’t fear people in stating my views because I have deep love in my heart.Perfect love removes fear.”
At the time of filing this report, the Journalist confirmed that investigation had commenced into the threat issue.
