Bandits have abducted a Catholic priest, reverend father Abraham Kunat, in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The Chancellor, Archdiocese of Kaduna, reverend father Christian Emmanuel, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Kaduna.
According to him, the incident took place at St Mulumba, Kurmin Sara, Kachia council, where Kunat has been residing all along due to the insecurity situation.
Chairman, Kaduna State Christian Association of Nigeria, Reverend Joseph Hayeb, who also confirmed the abduction, said a lot needs to be done to secure the residents from criminal elements terrorizing the people across the state.
