The Head of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwanyanwu has appealed to President Buhari to release Nnamdi Kanu before the he lives office.
He made the appeal on the heels of his appointment as the leader of the Pan Igbo cultural group, he further stated that he will like to have a peace summit to develop the East.
The industrialist also called for unity between all tribal groups of the nation and condemned the violence against Igbos in Lagos in the last elections.
He called for fast paced development in the East, asserting that there is potential for power generation in Enugu with abundance of coal for developing electricity, he also confirmed that he has conducted a study on the possibility of coal in generating electricity.
He commended President Buhari for all he had done for the Igbos and encouraged Nigerians to walk for the collective development of Nigeria.
