Former Auditor General of Kogi State, Ahmed Ododo has emerged as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State.
Secretary of the Kogi APC Primary Election Committee, Patrick Obahiagha said Ododo scored 78, 704 votes to beat his closest rival Salami Momodu who got 1,506 votes.
Recall that former frontline contestants including Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mohammed Asuku and four others withdrew from the race on the eve of the polls.
