The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum said its members are not working for the ticket of ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and ex-Anambra State Governor Peter Obi for the 2027 presidential election.
This was made known In a statement issued by the Forum’s Director General, Emmanuel Agbo, today which stated that the PDP Governors’ Forum, led by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, has declared that the party’s governors will support any aspirant who wins the party’s ticket.
Recall It was previously reported on media that five PDP Governors are backing the 2027 ticket of El-Rufai and the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Obi, within the All Progressives Congress.
In response, the forum condemned the report, labelling it as an unpleasant and provocative publication.
