President Bola Tinubu has appointed six Chief Medical Directors for Federal Government-owned hospitals in Akure, Gombe, Azare, Lafia, Maiduguri and Kafanchan.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Friday titled ‘President Tinubu appoints six chief medical directors for federal hospitals.’
The newly appointed CMDs include Prof. Olusegun Ojo who has been appointed Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Akure, Ondo State.
Tinubu also confirmed the Acting Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Azare, Bauchi State, Dr. Dauda Katagum, as the substantive CMD.
Dr. Ikrama Hassan was appointed as the Chief Medical Director of the newly upgraded Federal Teaching Hospital in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
