Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers has announced the inauguration of ten completed projects across the state, beginning from Monday, March 3, 2025.
In a statement released by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Warisenibo Joe Johnon, the ten-day event will feature the commissioning of key projects across Port Harcourt City, Obio/Akpor, Khana, and Okrika Local Government Areas, as well as Bayelsa State.
Among the projects to be inaugurated are the Government House Staff Quarters, the State Fire Service Headquarters, and newly acquired firefighting vehicles.
The governor will also hand over a helicopter to the Nigerian Air Force and commission the Borokiri and Rumuodonmaya Fire Service Stations.
Other projects include the construction and furnishing of the Palace and Residence of the Akpor Monarch, Judges’ Quarters, Bori General Hospital, and Okrika Grammar School. Additionally, the Nigerian Law School in Yenagoa will be fully furnished, equipped, and electrified.
