President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritising the development of the digital economy in order to enhance youth empowerment and create jobs.
The President made the pledge yesterday while receiving a report titled ‘Digital Economy, Youth Empowerment and Sustainable Job Creation in Nigeria: Issues, Challenges and Opportunities’.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga revealed that the President while receiving the participants of the senior executive course 46, National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, who presented their report in Abuja said at the core of his administration is youth empowerment and cannot relent on that thus everyone’s collaboration is needed.
Tinubu also highlighted the importance of youth empowerment through innovation and digital skills development.
