Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, on Monday, swore in five newly appointed commissioners and inaugurated the governing councils of tertiary institutions in the state.
The ceremony, held at Victoria Gowon Hall, New Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos, marked a key step in the governor’s efforts to rebuild and reposition the state.
The new commissioners sworn in are Sunday Akpan (Bassa LGA), Joyce Ramnap (Langtang South), Sylvanus Dongtoe (Shendam), Dr Nicholas Baamlong (Qua’an Pan), and Cornelius Doeyok (Qua’an Pan).
Mutfwang emphasised the importance of good governance, efficiency, and accountability, urging the new commissioners to serve with diligence and transparency.
