The Lagos State Government has announced a diversion plan for technical checks and repairs at locations on Lagos Island.
Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, confirmed the repairs will run from January 17 to January 31 at various locations including; Bonny Camp Underbridge, Eko Hotel Roundabout, Officer’s Mess, Ajose Adeogun, and Ligali Ayorinde.
Repairs at Bonny Camp Underbridge will not impact traffic, while at Eko Hotel Roundabout and Officer’s Mess, motorists will be diverted into two lanes on January 19.
Ajose Adeogun to Ligali Ayorinde repairs will take place from January 20 to 24, with diversions at Ligali Ayorinde Junction while Ligali Ayorinde to the end of Landmark will be repaired from January 25 to 31, without affecting traffic.
Osiyemi assured traffic officers will be on hand to manage vehicular movements and minimise inconveniences but urged motorists to exercise patience.
