The Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji Beyond 2026 (BB26) coalition has today joined other supporters to honor the exemplary service and transformative leadership of the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, as he celebrates his 57th birthday today.
According to BB26, Under Governor Oyebanji’s leadership, Ekiti State has witnessed significant developments in various sectors, including agriculture, education, health, and infrastructure. One notable achievement is the completion of the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport (EAICA) in Ado-Ekiti, which commenced non-scheduled flight operations on December 15th, 2024 ¹. This project is expected to boost the local economy, attract investments, and generate employment opportunities.
In a statement by the coalition’s Publicity Secretary, Adesoji Gabriel,” Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to improving the lives of Ekiti residents is evident in his decisive actions, such as the recent salary increment for workers and appointees”.
His approach to governance has also set a new standard for economic empowerment within communities. Moreover, his respect for the rule of law ensures that every citizen’s rights are upheld in a just society.
As Governor Oyebanji celebrates his birthday, he has directed that all funds for celebrations be sent to support Special Schools throughout Ekiti State, demonstrating his dedication to humanitarian service and inclusivity.
