The Manager of the Italian Serie A Atalanta, Gian Piero Gasperini says it remains confident the Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman will remain at the club despite interest from several clubs.
The Nigerian International was the subject of transfer speculation this summer following his outstanding performance last season and interest from Paris St Germain but the deal failed to materialise.
Gasperini stated that the club expects massive interests from outside on the services of Lookman but he remains confident the winger will remain in Italy.
Lookman continues to shine after his excellent performance last season, ranking 14 on the list of top players in the world according to Ballon d’or.
The Nigerian is also projected to be crowned African best player following his excellent display at the AFCON in Ivory Coast.
